SCRC stands for South Central Regional Conference. SCRC is a one day conference filled with exciting speakers, professional development workshops, and networking opportunities. By attending this conference, you will be able to improve your soft and hard skills and build new, meaningful relationships. Students from SASE chapters across the South Central region, including UT, UT Arlington, UH, Lamar, Rice, and OU, will be in attendance.
What is SCRC?
Attending our South Central Regional Conference provides an excellent opportunity for those involved in SASE to meet new people, and reunite with friends. The conference is also a chance to network with industry professionals, various company representatives, as well as our fellow aspiring scientists and engineers. SCRC 2019 promises you with professional workshops, keynote speakers, a networking session, a conference banquet dinner, and social activities provide unique learning and career building opportunities that you just can’t find anywhere else.
Why come to SCRC?
This year’s theme is “Illuminate Your Future.”
We will be focusing on how to improve our outlook on our futures by providing students with the stepping stones they need to reach the next step in their career path. Our chapter chose this theme because:
- We want to give chances to our members to showcase their skills and abilities
- We want to help our members successfully find their passions and learn how to apply it strategically
- We want to provide an environment where leadership can thrive
